My name is Betty Bivins.I am a retired teacher.After teaching private piano in the public school, I went into the classroom.I taught Math, Reading, Computers, Instructional Technology to teachers. I was the first Technology Specialist and Technology Coordinator for Montgomery County Schools.We received our technology funds for the Lottery beginning in 1994. In 2004 I retired from teaching and am enjoying my retirement.It is great not to have go get up at five or five thirty.We have pet chickens that lay green eggs.

My name is Lisa Yarbrough and I teach 7th grade ELA at Jeff Davis Middle School. I do not have a blog of my own, but I do post on other blogs. I blog on MySpace and on If I Ruled the World. I have also blogged some on topix.com, but I try to stay away from that one. It is about our Sheriff election and it makes me mad to read the UNTRUE things that people have posted on there!!!

I also read a blog on a baby that was born in our town with Hydrops and was not supposed to live. He is at home now and is doing GREAT!

My name is Kim Turner and I am a Social Studies teacher at Dodge County High School. I do not have a personal blog, but I do read a few on occasion. So far I haven't read any that relate to education, though I should! I am addicted to the Travelling Hungry boy (http://eatbma.blogspot.com/) and I check out Rickey.org because I'm addicted to television and he has tons of info on all kinds of tv shows and celebrities -- lol.

Hello! My name is Kathleen Tootle. I am a special education instructor in the department of Teaching and Learning at Georgia Southern University. I do not have much experience with blogging. I have read a few blogs when trying to get to know my students. Of course, not all of the information I read was something I really wanted to know about them. I do teach some graduate courses online where the students are required to post comments and assignments on a Whiteboard. I am about to implement a virtual classroom this summer.
